IJMB 2026/2027 Registration is Now Open

The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) 2026/2027 academic session is officially open for registration. Prospective students across Nigeria can now apply online through the official IJMB portal at www.ijmb.info.

Study centres have limited spaces available per session. Early registration is strongly advised to secure your preferred centre and subject combination.

Who Can Apply for IJMB 2026/2027?

You are eligible to register if you meet any of the following criteria:

You have completed secondary school and hold a minimum of 5 O-Level credits (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) including English Language and Mathematics
You are currently awaiting your O-Level results — you can register and upload your result later
You have previously written JAMB but were not admitted and want an alternative route to university
You want to skip 100 Level and enter university directly at 200 Level

Key Dates for the 2026/2027 Session

Recommended Registration Deadline: Register as early as possible — centres fill up
Lectures Begin: October/November 2026 (varies by centre)
IJMB A-Level Examinations: April–June 2027
Results Released: September–November 2027
University Direct Entry (JAMB DE): January–March 2027/2028

Registration Fees for 2026/2027

Registration Form Fee: ₦10,000 (paid online at registration)
Tuition Fee: ₦350,000 per session (payable in instalments at most centres)
Hostel Accommodation: ₦150,000 per session (optional)
Acceptance Fee: ₦15,000 (paid after admission offer)

Choose three subjects from the approved IJMB combination list based on your intended university course:

Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering): Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Maths
Social Sciences (Economics, Accounting, Business): Economics, Mathematics, Government or Commerce
Arts & Law (Law, Literature, History, Mass Comm): Literature, Government, Economics or History

Fill in your application form — takes about 10 minutes. The form saves automatically so you can return later
Pay the ₦10,000 form fee online using your debit card, bank transfer, or USSD
