    IJMB Grading System Explained

The IJMB examination is conducted by Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria. Results are graded on a points system similar to the UK A-Level grading format. Understanding this grading system is essential for knowing whether your score qualifies you for your preferred university and course.

You sit examinations in 3 subjects. Each subject is graded A–F and assigned points (5–0). Your total is out of 15.

Example: A student who scores A in Biology (5), B in Chemistry (4), and C in Physics (3) has a total of 12 points — qualifying for Medicine at most universities.
