What is the IJMB Registration Portal?

The IJMB registration portal is the official online platform at www.ijmb.info where students apply for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) A-Level programme. Through the portal, you can create an account, complete your application form, upload your documents, pay all fees, and download your admission letter — without visiting any office in person.

The portal is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can start and save your application at any time and return to complete it later.

What You Need Before You Start

    • A working email address (you will receive important notifications here)
    • Your phone number
    • A passport photograph (JPEG or PNG, under 2MB)
    • Your O-Level result or awaiting slip (if available — not compulsory at registration)
    • A valid debit card or access to bank transfer for payment

Step 1: Create Your Account on the Portal

    1. Go to www.ijmb.info/register
    2. Enter your full name, email address, and phone number
    3. Create a strong password
    4. Click "Create Account"
    5. Check your email inbox for a verification link and click it to confirm your account

If you don't see the verification email within 5 minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 2: Log In and Open Your Application Form

    1. Go to www.ijmb.info/login
    2. Enter your email and password
    3. You will land on your student dashboard
    4. Click "Start Application" or "My Application" to open the form

Step 3: Fill In Your Application Form

The application form has four sections. All sections must be completed before payment.

    • Section 1 — Personal Details: Full name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, residential address, guardian information
    • Section 2 — Academic Details: O-Level exam type (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), exam year, exam number, and individual subject grades
    • Section 3 — Programme Selection: Preferred study centre, subject combination, intended university course, academic session
    • Section 4 — Documents: Upload passport photograph and O-Level result (if available)

Your form is automatically saved as you go — you will not lose progress if you close the browser.

Step 4: Pay the Registration Form Fee

After completing the form, you will be prompted to pay the ₦10,000 registration form fee. Payment options include:

    • Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Verve) — processed instantly via Paystack
    • Bank transfer — upload your receipt after transferring
    • USSD — available through your mobile banking app

Once payment is confirmed, your application status changes from Draft to Submitted and your admission process begins.

Step 5: Receive Your Admission Letter

After your application is reviewed and approved by the admissions team (typically within 2–5 working days), you will receive:

    • An email notification that your admission letter is ready
    • Your admission letter available for download directly from your dashboard
    • Your study centre assignment and resumption date

Print your admission letter and bring it with you on resumption day.
